The Heatmiser RF-Switch 16A is our surface mount wireless receiver for electric heating. It is capable of switching up to 16A.

Please note this is not designed for electric floor heating as there is no floor limiting sensor function.

The RF Switch is compatible with the Slimline-RF, Touch-RF and neoAir.

Good product, but could be even better

This works well with my NeoAir even when the thermostat is on the ground floor and the 16A switch is on the second floor in a domestic building. But there are three points buyers should be aware of:
1. yes it fits a standard single back-box, but because the unit is 108mm wide, 20mm wider than a standard UK face-plate, you can't fit this to an existing back-box if it is flush adjacent to another face-plate.
2. All the wiring is designed to be from the rear---there is no cable outlet from the front. This isn't very helpful if you are trying to retro-fit these by replacing existing switched outlets.
3. the override feature is pretty useless except, perhaps, for testing the installation---it certainly isn't any use for the end consumer. Neostat sends out a status command every 20 minutes, informing switches if they should be on or off. If Neostat is not calling for heat and you use the override to turn on the load, the repeated status commands sent by Neostat will turn the switch off again.
