QSS single skin oil tanks are designed for the storage of heating fuels in domestic installations.
Please note, if the tank is to be situated within:
- 50 metres of a well, borehole or spring
- 10 metres of controlled water e.g. open drain, manhole cover, river, stream or lake
or
- if the tank's vent is not visible from its fill point
- if the capacity exceeds 2500 litres
- if any potential spillage could run over ground into controlled waters
then the tank must be bunded.
